Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen, also known as A.P.J Abdul Kalam, was a scientist who had dreams for the country. He worked as a science Administrator and a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) and Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) for forty years. His contributions toward missile development for military and the efforts he made, earned him the title of ‘Missile Man of India’. He was the first scientist to occupy the Rashtrapati Bhavan. After serving the tenure of as the president, he went ahead and pursue his passionate vocations. He was honored with the ‘Bharat Ratna’, for his contributions. He died on 27 July 2015 while delivering a talk at the Indian Institute of Management.
